Dr. Kacem Zoughari
Inspired by seminars with Dr Kacem Zoughari, his personality, his extensive research
and practical knowledge in connection with the classical Japanese martial arts, and the
desire to make this knowledge accessible to a wider audience, the idea for the first book
in this series was born. It presented a selection of interviews and articles with Dr Kacem
Zoughari since 1997 and deals with various aspects of classical Japanese martial arts. It
gave us an insight into the author‘s development from humble beginnings to a renow-
ned researcher in the field. For this reason, the articles, some of which are old, have not
been edited and have been left in their original form. In this way, the reader can follow
his development. Due to the immense demand for further information and the fact that
sufficient material is available, this series will continue. Articles, interviews, and a dens-
ho complete the series somewhat. And a third volume is already in the works.
His knowledge is extensive and Dr Kacem Zoughari has a high level of practical expe-
rience in the classical martial arts, which he has been practicing for more than 30 years
under the guidance of his Japanese mentor Ishizuka Sensei. For many years, Dr Kacem
Zoughari has been a sought-after lecturer at universities and speaker at seminars all
over the world. His seminars are becoming increasingly popular.
