Dr Kacem Zoughari is a world-renowned researcher of the history of classical Japanese martial arts.

He completed his doctorate on this subject at the renowned Institut National des Langues et

Civilisations Orientales (INALCO) in Paris. His full title is "Docteur en Langue, Litérature et Civilisation

du Japon" ("Doctor of Japanese Language, Literature and Civilisation"), which he passed with highest

distinction "très honorable" ("very honourable") in 2008. His doctoral thesis deals with the history of

classical martial arts based on the oldest scrolls.
